Bury Bulldogs Basketball Club find ‘new home’ at Skyliner Sports Centre

Skyliner Sports Centre is delighted to announce that the Bury St Edmunds Bulldogs Basketball Club has made the switch to Skyliner Sports Centre, with its Junior and Senior teams set to train and play matches on the high-quality court facilities at the new centre, based in the Moreton Hall estate.

The Bury Bulldogs enjoyed their first session at their new home court last weekend. Head Coach Arron MacDonald, said: “From the second I walked in here, it felt like home. The energy in the hall was superb – so the players clearly feel the same; and I have to say that the staff at Skyliner have been incredibly friendly and professional.”

“We believe that Skyliner is the best facility to play at, to grow our club, and that being here gives us a platform to really give our town a basketball club which they can be proud of.”

Bulldogs train at Skyliner on Sunday’s, with the under 13’s team training at 3:00pm, followed by the under 17’s at 4:30pm and the Senior team at 6:00pm.

The club is always looking for new players. Junior teams are open to boys and girls in school years 5-12, and no experience is necessary. The club also offers a first session free policy, so if you’d like to become a Bulldog, you get in touch with by clicking here.
